Programming for Kids on the Spectrum
Sensory-aware small groups designed for autism — visual schedule cards, choice-based art making, predictable structure.
About the program
Kids on the autism spectrum benefit enormously from creative arts programming when it's designed for their sensory profile, communication style, and need for predictable structure. Most generic art classes aren't. We build an autism-specific track that doubles as a Regional Center vendor service line.
How it runs
- Small-group sessions (max 4–6 kids), sensory-aware studio environment.
- Visual schedule cards on the wall — every step of the session predictable.
- Choice-based art making — participants pick from curated options.
- Tactile + sensory variety — clay, finger paint, textured paper, kinetic sand.
- Caregiver-included option for participants who do better with parent or aide present.
- Mail-order autism-friendly kits for families who can't reach the studio.
Sliding-scale, every program
